How to get rid of alternate calendar in Notification Panel

Basically the title.

Currently it displays both the Gregorian and Islamic Date when I pull down the notification shade. 

I want it to display just the Gregorian date.

Could someone guide me on how to go about doing this?

Just long press the clock widget, select "Settings". Just unelected "Show Hijri Calender" and the Hijri dates are gone. Just that easy. Please see pictures attached.

Hi, 

Please go to the calendar app. Tap options then settings > Go to Alternate calendar and select None to disable Hijiri.

Simple. Go to settings and choose Lock Screen, Choose Clock Style and swipe left Hijri Calendar to off position. Now go back to Lock Screen and its gone for ever
