Both the Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic feature a newly designed press-type buckle band, providing a secure and stable fit around your wrist. Proper attachment improves wearing comfort and helps prevent the band from coming loose during physical activity. Follow the steps below to fasten the band correctly.
Attaching the Galaxy Watch8 Classic band
The Galaxy Watch8 Classic band offers the look and feel of a traditional watch strap, while allowing for easy and secure attachment. Follow the steps below to attach it:
Step 1. Rotate the Dynamic Lug on the band as shown in the image below.
Step 2. Place your Watch with the back and the inner side of the band facing up. Align the band with the Watch so they are properly aligned, then attach it while pressing the band button.

If the band does not wobble, it has been successfully attached.

Precautions when wearing your Galaxy Watch
- If the band is not properly secured, it may detach and cause the watch to fall off. Make sure the band is fully inserted and flush with the watch.
- If the watch is worn too tightly or too loosely, it may affect both comfort and the performance of the watch’s sensors.
- Sweat or dust build-up around the pin area may interfere with attachment or removal. We recommend cleaning it regularly.
