How can we so kindly ask for the release of bootloader code for SM-G965U1?

Also would like to hear the reasoning behind taking away the option to use development option OEM LOCK for USA 🇺🇸  devices? While international SM-G9650/DS its available after 7 days?

I also want a bootloader unlock, I want to flash a custom rom, I would like to know what I need to do, I have forced it to give me oem unlock by flashing the factory combination firmware, but it still wont let me flash TWRP. I KNOW that there is a way to finish the unlocking, but I don't know how, please help. If I can't unlock this I am switching to the google brand phones, they are perfect for any and all customizations you would ever want, no passwords, or oem unlock required.

if it helps at all, in the top left of bootloader/download mode it says

RPMB PROVISIONED

CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official

SYSTEM STATUS : Official

FRP LOCK : OFF

WARRENTY VOID : 0x0

QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT : ENABLE

RP SWREV : b9(2.2.2.9.2) K9 S9

SECURE DOWNLOAD : ENABLE

(I am not putting my did on here just in case it is volatile to share such stuff)

I don't know how or why people argue or fight about this. It is simple. Why lock the bootloader? They say it is for security. This is reasonable and okay for people who want the security. So why not allow for an unlock option for those who want to live on the edge? Some people enjoy sky diving, some people would never do it because you are risking your life. Unlocking a bootloader is not risking life, so I don't see why Samsung locks it and all they say is "we do not recommend it" hmm, well I don't really care about the recommendation. It is a simple request to unlock. The fact is I won't buy Samsung products if they are treating me like this. Like I am a prisoner or criminal just because I enjoy the thrill of living dangerous and controlling my own software environment. There is no harm to let me unlock the bootloader at my own risk.

For clarification I own the G975UI. There is no OEM unlock option in developer mode. There should be. I don't know why there isn't. I will restate again that I will never buy another Samsung product, or snapdragon related product again. I will do my research and only buy unlockable customizable products.

I’m in the same boat.  I bought The Samsung Galaxy S10 intending to load LineageOS only to find that OEM Unlock is blocked on the U.S. model of the phone with the Snapdragon processor.  I also will never buy another Samsung phone.  I’ll do my research next time to make sure that OEM Unlock isn’t blocked.  BTW, I’m also a skydiver.  😊

I am in the same boat. I have the Samsung A32 5G and OEM unlock is no where to be found. However, with my phone it is possible to unlock bootloader if you have baseband version 3 or below and I am on 3 and have been refusing to update my phone to the newest update in hopes of a method being released. But as of right now the only way you can unlock this phone is by paying for a service that can get the fastboot identifier token. So that tells me there is a way but someone is keeping it a secret in order to make money.

And to whoever said that phone manufacturers make the bootloader impossible to unlock in order to save money, that's ridiculous. Because there are a TON of people, including myself who will never buy another Samsung again because of this!

The weird thing with my phone is, my provider is a very small company called cellcom and every single phone I've ever gotten from them in the past ten years have all been unlockable. They allow OEM unlock so you can use your phone with a different provider. BUT my provider uses Verizon towers and the majority of their phones are the "Verizon version". So I don't know how all of that works but its a little confusing trying to unlock this phone.

But like others have been saying, we PAID for this phone, we PAID for the service so we should be able to do WHATEVER we want with OUR PROPERTY.

Samsung, I will no longer be purchasing ANY of your products (tvs, computers and definitely NO MORE OF YOUR CELLPHONES!)

By shorting the test points behind the tablet Samsung Galaxy A8 2019 (SM-T290) or t295(another tablet if anyone has this instead), I have accessed the edl mode (QHSUSB_BULK device shown in device manager in PC) on this tablet t290, so now can we force flash bootloader or aboot.mbn to s3 from s4 to get twrp working back? I installed drivers for the QHSUSB_BULK device and then I knew that it's Qualcomm HS USB Loader 9008 , which means I bypassed secondary bootloader or download mode and now I have successfully entered the primary bootloader or emergency download mode(edl mode) . Now I can force flash original binary 3 bootloader but I don't know how as tools like QFIL tool using Firehose protocol require a raw_program file and a patch file which I don't have for this tablet in its stock firmware I downloaded from samfrew website though I probably saw the required 'meta' files(raw and patch file) in a ota.zip file which is inside Ap.tar.md5 file of this tablet, but that ota.zip has password protection and I can't access it. Alone I was able to advance till this point , can anyone help me to get further from this point and flash s3 bootloader? Pls I am eager to do anything as I saved a Nandroid backup of this tablet which includes my study career related important data , and I want to restore that Nandroid to get those data. Any help is appreciated. Pls help me . I beg you.
