How can we so kindly ask for the release of bootloader code for SM-G965U1?

Also would like to hear the reasoning behind taking away the option to use development option OEM LOCK for USA 🇺🇸  devices? While international SM-G9650/DS its available after 7 days?

OHH really than why dont you decide which lane you will drive on road??? why you follow the side as directed to drive

you are free right !!

people like you need a better education to know what is FREEDOM

Ask than why microsoft uses NT system for Instaler
ask than why telecom uses Micro wave , you are free so You want AM wave .

IP address also a FOSS initiative so why they force you to use **bleep**.**bleep**.**bleep**.**bleep** format

You are absolutely a worthless individual. I don't know how you brought cars into this but i assume its because there's no arguement you can make using your own company as the standard. And whilst partially correct, also majorly incorrect. provided you are driving on a public roadway. Absolutely you must abide by traffic laws. When my phone is under contract with a company, you must abide by rules. But what your f&$king d@#a$s is saying right now is basically like Ford calling me and telling me I can't take MY mustang on MY Racetrack if it's not 100% Stock and Ford Built. But of course Ford is a true American company that values freedom and choice unlike samsung apparently. They'd never do that, they'll literally let you send they're F-150 Raptor DIRECT FROM KENTUCKY TO TEXAS from the Factory to get ripped apart and built back up BY HENNESSY! AND CONTINUE YOUR NORMAL WARRANTY! You obviously do not live within the country most of these phones are sold in (USA) because when we OWN something here. We OWN it. That means if I want take your Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G out to the desert and put a sniper round through it. I CAN!!!  AND THE COP WILL ASK IF HE CAN SHOOT IT TOO! Of course we'd NEVER do that to a Ford. That would be a sad day.

If I bought and paid for the road I drive on. I most certainly would pick the side I want to drive on! But we don't own the roads. But I do own the cell device with a so called for my  protection oem lock, so I can't change that so called Foss free software that I am  being forced to keep.

It has nothing to do with what is a"allowed" in sense of the term, but a decision made by Samsung at the request of major carriers. By agreeing to this, it saves Samsung money only having to build 2-3 version of the phone instead of 1 for TMO, 1 for ATT, 1 for Verizon....etc etc, then a completely different one for people who want to mod.

Many phones in the USA have unlockable bootloader's, including Google devices, one+ and a few others you might not even realize.

It was a pure money saving option

That is an absolute lie. I have pixel 4a5g bought unlocked in St.louis Missouri USA at best buy and oem unlock is right there in dev settings. It actually shows on Carrier locked devices it's just grayed out.  And I don't know if you're just a random person putting this out here but there are absolutely zero policies from the government about unlocking bootloaders. Actually the most recent thing I've seen about it put on the books is that manufacturers can't deny your warranty simply because the bootloader is unlocked. Only reason I'm wasting my time putting this here is because it's hard telling how many people might have read your misinformation.  I hope this is some exex's burner account that's just throwing garbage out here and you're not a real person that is just ignorant and too lazy to research before you misinform people inquiring about THEIR expensive device.

You don't understand why we want control of something we own . Really ,one of these days when you go to start your car and the company you bought it off says no you can't because you shut your locationoff or turned off your camera , it's coming, and because of people like you who don't undtand your birth right to be free from any control are making worse.  We bought it , it's ours , to do with what we please . And when this company loses our trust. Guess what it's not coming back.  Generation after generation , I promise you my children will never buy something with your logo on it or google or Amazon,  all of you big tech companies . And when Elon done with the pi peace to all your sales.  Just because someone needs something right now doesn't mean they always will . So you should watch how you treat us . Because what we learn our children will remember.  I hope you find your spine one day.  It feels good trust me . To be completely free

in USA you cant get this option after android 10 update . and carrier like verizon etc dont allow oem unlock

cause in USA there is some restrictions on such deployment due to IT security policy etc

as In India , any tech online service they should have servers in india . similarly un USA its a regulation ..

USA smartphone market is different .

(if you want to unlock then go to developer option and unlock it)

I'm Sorry but if you don't know what the problem is, why are you commenting on it.

I would love to do what you are saying to do! Cause that is exactly how simple that choice should be. But Google SM-G965U1 and you will learn how Oem lock is being removed on many new devices.

But anyway can someone just tell me the process to request the owners of my paid for device with the free software I would like to change, to release a unlock code?

I have the same phone as you and it is snapdragon and so, as of yet, there is no way to unlock the bootloader.  At least, that is what I gather from reading so many articles I am dizzy.  I am just trying to load the OEM or stock ROM back onto my phone.  it is stuck in a loop.  I let my brother play with my phone and now it doesn't work.  LOL

you don't need bootloader unlock to flash stock rom, you should be able to use odin and do it just fine, have you tried factory resetting?
