Yes. If the original poster does not prefer this option, an alternative gallery can be used just for file sharing, or another app, such as a file explorer.

I have the same issue in my S24 Ultra so looks like a System error or the Gallery app itself, because when sharing from WhatsApp without the share through gallery app it sends the photo without problems.

App protection mode is automatically activated when you turn on the 'Maximum restrictions' option in the 'Auto Blocker'. This mode is supported by the 'App protection' option in the Device Care menu. If the Auto Blocker is enabled with 'Maximum restrictions', you cannot deactivate or modify this function directly.

To turn off App protection mode, you need to disable the 'Maximum restrictions' setting in the Auto Blocker menu.

Settings > Security and privacy > Auto Blocker > Maximum restrictions > Tap 'Learn more' on 'Turns on App protection' for additional details.

As at 28-12-24, with the December update on my system, this bug has been patched. It may have been patched before then, but it has been fixed now.

So, feel free to enable Autoblocker, with Maximum restrictions also enabled, and you'll still be able to easily share images from the Samsung Gallery app.
