Galaxy S_Causes of overheating:_
1. _Processor-intensive tasks_: Video recording, especially in 4K, can be processor-intensive, leading to increased heat generation.
2. _Camera sensor heat_: The camera sensor itself can generate heat, especially when recording video or taking multiple photos in quick succession.
3. _Battery heat_: The battery can also contribute to heat generation, especially when it's under heavy load.
_Tips to reduce overheating:_
1. _Take regular breaks_: Give your device a break every 5-10 minutes to allow it to cool down.
2. _Use a camera app with thermal management_: Some camera apps, like the Samsung Camera app, have built-in thermal management features that can help reduce heat generation.
3. _Record in 1080p instead of 4K_: As you mentioned, you generally shoot in 1080p, which generates less heat than 4K recording.
4. _Disable unnecessary features_: Turn off features like GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi when not in use to reduce heat generation.
5. _Keep your device's software up to date_: Regular software updates can help improve thermal management and reduce heat generation.
6. _Use a phone case with heat dissipation_: Some phone cases are designed with heat dissipation in mind, which can help reduce overheating.
7. _Avoid recording in direct sunlight_: Direct sunlight can cause your device to heat up more quickly, so try to record in shaded areas or indoors.
_Additional steps:_
1. _Monitor your device's temperature_: You can use apps like CPU-Z or Device Monitor to track your device's temperature and identify potential heat-related issues.
2. _Clean your device's camera lens_: A dirty camera lens can cause your device to work harder, generating more heat. Clean the lens regularly to ensure optimal performance.
By following these tips, you should be able to reduce overheating when using your S20 FE's camera.

Galaxy SWhat I observed from yesterday's shoot was, the video capturing was happening for hardly 5 or 7 min.. i generally pause the video capture if iam not shooting.
So when I feel the warmth I stop the camera completely.
Also 4k is very rare for me.
