Issue encountered after March software update. The following did not resolve the issue:
  • Booting in safe mode
  • Factory reset
  • Turning off blue light filter
  • Wipe partition cache
  • Turn off adaptive screen brightness
A lot of other users are encountering the same problem (mostly Note 9 users) after March update.

Workaround is to have the AOD displayed always.

Hi guys, even I Too face this issue. But i have a  solution until we receive new update.

Apps:

These two apps are really helpful to fix this issue. U can switch on these apps service in Settings-> Accessibility-> Installed services-> on

Thanks. Unfortunately, other users with the same problem who visited SC was asked to replace their screen, with a charge (out of warranty period)

It's a bit unfair to be charged for something that was not due to misuse, but due to a software update.

Same thing here with my Samsung Note20 Ultra. Green screen and flickering like crazy. I visited SC and was asked to pay full price on the screen repair which is so unfair being it not even my fault. I had the phone for only 14 months and this had happened which is very disappointing being it to be flagship phone. We pay so much for it and the phone will only last for only few months. Samsung had to look unto this issue very seriously and offer free repairs knowing that these are not the consumers fault.

Hello Mr. Decal08,

Thanks for the post. I am also facing the same issue in s9 plus. Earlier I used to have this issue periodically. But from today, my display is completely gone. Kindly update us if you got any update or solution on this. It will be greatly helpful.

As like u, I have also tried all the possible means to rectify it but nothing turned out. Service centers are suggesting to change the display in full price. Even I didn't dropped my mobile anywhere in recent months for damages. Lets see how the Samsung helps
