My Samsung s21 got a green line yesterday out of nowhere. the phone was in the charger and afer I came and I saw this greenline. Should I go for a screen replacement immediately or  else if I keep this for a sometime will it be more worst?

This is occurring due to a hardware problem. The only way to resolve this is to replace your display. With time and depending on how you use your device , more green/pink lines tend to appear on the screen. If you want to replace the screen you can contact a samsung service center. If you are out of warranty cost of replacing the screen can be very expensive. You can continue to use your device but make sure to keep a backup of your data.

Its a hardware isssue which comes with software issue. I think device overheating issue could caused this.

Don't replace the screen immediately, it is possible that Samsung will provide a free screen replacement as this is a common defect, call this number and file a complaint SmartSelect_20230228_150448_Samsung Members_1000000098_1677576888.jpg

Hi, I am also having the same issue with my s21+. I suggest reaching out to Samsung's customer care through WhatsApp.

File an official complaint about the problem, and they will provide you with a complaint ID for reference. Within 1-2 working days, you can expect a call from them. Then highlight that it's not physical damage but a common problem in the S21 series.

Now S20 users can have a free one-time display replacement as it identifies as a common issue. So, it's important to request Samsung to provide the service and support we deserve.

And report about it on the "Samsung Members" platform too if there were no any physical damages.
