Galaxy SI updated a security update in my samsung and a green line appeared on the screen. The phone dont have any single scratch and phone is out of warranty. But its not the issue happened from my side. Why Samsung is only focusing on damaging customers screen by an update and charging for replacement? Is this the way of making money?

Galaxy SThank you for reaching out to us. We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter issues like the green line on your screen after a security update. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
We want to assure you that Samsung prioritizes the quality and reliability of our software updates, and we continuously work to ensure that updates are thoroughly tested to avoid unintended issues. However, in rare cases, certain updates can trigger problems that may not be immediately apparent, and these could potentially affect specific devices or configurations.
Regarding the green line issue, this could be due to a variety of factors, such as software conflicts, display hardware issues, or even a compatibility problem triggered by the update.
Since your device is out of warranty, we recommend visiting a Samsung authorized service center where our technicians can assess the issue in more detail. They will be able to confirm whether the issue is related to the update or the screen itself and provide the necessary solutions.
We understand your concern about the costs for replacement and repair. Samsung aims to offer affordable repair services through authorized channels, and we recommend checking with our service center for any available options, including discounts or promotions.
Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this issue has caused, and we appreciate your feedback. We are committed to improving the customer experience, and your input helps us achieve that.
