Im using a galaxy s8. 1 may 2020 security patch was the last update that i recieved.

After installing that update, i noticed that the blacks are not really black. It looked like Brown or grey. More like brown colour.

I was ok since nothing was seriously wrong with my phone. RGB is not turing off when its black.
Fine whatever...

25 to 30 days later, my screen started showing green colour. This only happens when i set my phones brightness to low or medium. When on high brightness, green colour is not there.

I turned of adaptive brightness and set my phone to full brightness (always). Green colour issue is temporarily solved. When then screen dimmed before auto locking, i saw the green colour and flickering again.

If anyone finds a permanent solution please inform me.

try oled saver application from playstore..by this you can adjust your brightness.i am also facing this issue from last 5 months.initially I thought Samsung will solve the issue by software update.but still no response from Samsung.

I tried it. makes no difference. Brightness should be set to high in order to avoid green tint effect.

the same issue I have and the same answer they replay every time. they make me hate galaxy brand and samsung services.I feel they try to do the same as Apple did.

Tried safe mode, factory reset. Apple, oneplus, samsung and many other phones have or had this issue. Some are hardware issues. In my case i think it is software. My phone will only receive quarterly updates. So i have no hope.
