Dear Samsung Support Team,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the green line issue on my Samsung S22 Ultra, which appeared after a recent software update. I have read Samsung’s official announcement stating that affected users are eligible for a one-time free display replacement. However, I am facing unreasonable pushback from the authorized service center, despite my issue aligning with the widely reported problem.

Issue Details:

Device Model: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Issue Observed: A green vertical line appeared on the display immediately after the update.

Service Support Response: When I contacted the service support, they refused the free replacement, claiming that the policy only applies to horizontal lines and not vertical ones. However, Samsung’s official announcement does not explicitly state such a limitation.


Concerns:

1. Inconsistent Service Center Response: Many users facing the same issue have received free replacements, while I am being denied service without valid reasoning.


2. Acknowledged Samsung Fault: This problem is a direct result of a software update, making it Samsung’s responsibility to rectify it.


3. Misleading Policy Interpretation: If Samsung’s official statement covers all green line issues post-update, the service center’s refusal seems unjustified and arbitrary.



Request for Resolution:

I kindly request an urgent resolution to this issue by:

Confirming my eligibility for the one-time free display replacement as per Samsung’s policy.

Directing the service center to honor Samsung’s official commitment without unnecessary restrictions.

Providing an official written clarification if the free replacement truly excludes vertical lines (which I doubt is the case).


If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I will be forced to escalate it through social media, consumer forums, and regulatory bodies. I trust Samsung to uphold its reputation and provide fair customer service.

Please consider this a high-priority case, as my device’s usability is compromised due to this issue.

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer support through Samsung Members App as error report also send log files Along with this error report for this issue. Then go to service center for replace/repair it's. If you like please accept as a solution it's help to others users also, click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.

Sir my Samsung galaxy S22 mobile display got Green line on 1st of Jan after repeated request samsung changed my mobile display free of cost go to my galaxy app send email to Samsung care + try

@ram_ram Was it a vertical green line or horizontal? I have sent mail also but still they're saying it cannot be replaced under policy.
