Galaxy SGreen Line Issue After Update – Why Only 3 Years Free Replacement When Support is Promised for 4–7 Years?
Samsung promotes 4 to 7 years of software updates for its flagship S series devices, encouraging long-term use and trust in the brand.
However, if a software update causes display issues like the green line, Samsung only offers free screen replacement within 3 years of purchase. This is unfair to customers who are still well within the promised software support period — especially when the issue is a result of Samsung’s own update.
This policy feels misleading and inconsistent.
If Samsung truly stands by its long-term support promise, then it should take full responsibility for update-related issues, even beyond 3 years.
Please address this gap and offer fair support to affected users.
