Gmail Notifications bug

Is anyone facing issues with Gmail Notifications on lockscreen? When phone is locked for like 10-15 mins I don't receive Gmail Notifications until I unlock my phone. But it works for other apps like whatsapp and messages all the time when the phone is locked. I'm currently on Android 11 One UI 3.1 Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus.

long press on Gmail app icon>app info (ibutton) and check background activity if its restricted then allow background activity background data activity

No it's not restricted

so check once in device care, sleep apps may it goes into sleep apps

Yeah also check that but there's gmail inside sleep or deep sleep apps

then do these settings and lets see

A. Reset App Preferences.
Settings >Apps> Tap on Top Right 3Dots and select Reset App preferences.

B. Go to settings >general Management >reset>reset settings.

(NOTE : Reset settings/ Reset App preferences, change all settings to default)

I think when phone is locked it cannot sync gmail messages

i dont think so, as i m getting emails notifications on lock screen
