Game recorder on One UI 2

Did we loose ability to record games after One UI 2 update?

I remember seeing a record screen/game button as part of game launcher that would let you record only the game.

Is that gone or option has moved?

it's now universal
u can record everything now
just drop down the quick settings and press screen recorder and it will start recording
but it only records 24m 51s so good luck 😃
i complained bout dat
hope they raise the time to like 40m or so

Darn. Yeah I saw that screen recorder but that's so odd to turn on during gameplay. Earlier option was so much better. Thank you for the detailed explanation.
