On 25/02/2021 I updated my S20+ 5G phone to UI 3.1. Very bad things happened immediately after that! Gallery app is not working! It shows no albums and no files at all! Completely empty! Also I cannot open any photos using gallery app. I cannot play any vidoes using default video player! I cannot take any screenshot! I used a 3rd party app to take the attached screenshot. In the play store under gallery app it says in red font that the app is NOT compatible with my device anymore! (See attached screenshot) Also I cannot use the camera! It crashes all the time. I cannot take any photos. I cannot take any videos. The camera opens but immediately crashes when I take photos or videos.

 Please help me!

Update:
Today 29 March 2021, an update came and fixed all these issues which I was facing since 25 Feb 2021. Thank you very very much @Samsung

Enable Safe Mode & see if the problem still exists...
Try hard resetting, may it works 🤷🏻

Kindly you can try to do the below steps to solve your issue:

-Settings
-Apps
-from the top right menu choose Show system apps
-Camera/Gallery
-Storage
-Clear cache & Clear data

If the issue still exists, You can diagnose the root causal of your case by setting the device to the safe mode as some third party apps might cause a bug in your device.

You can activate the Safe Mode option through the following steps:

- Restart your device
- When it shows Samsung logo, you have to press and hold the volume down key till you reach Safe Mode
- You can try to observe the device for Two or Three hours
If the device is working fine in the safe mode, it means that this issue caused by some Third party apps you already installed on your device in the normal mode. Kindly check your Third party apps. and remove them one by one until resolving the issue.

Thank you for your suggestions. I tried them all but unfortunately they did not change anything at all! The problems were certainly caused by the latest software update. Everything was buttery smooth and working fine before the update. All issues started immediately after the update. I did not download any new app after update. I had all my apps before the update and everything was functioning as it should. Once updated, all issues occured and still continue to exist until now. Some suggested formatting my phone, but no thank you! I do not wish to do that. Yes I can backup my data, but the process will take very long time for me to install my apps and set them up/customize and fine tune them. So no, I am not willing to format my device at any time .
Samsung needs to issue an urgent update to One UI 3.1 to fix all these irritating issues that are affecting essential phone functions such as default Samsung camera and default Samsung gallery. I am really frustrated and upset about this update. I wish I never updated!! But how would I know!! I wish I can down-date to One UI 3.0 when life was good!

I appreciate your time and support.

Exact same issue with NOTE 20, ULTRA, UNLOCKED.  Tried all above suggestions and none worked.  There was no issue after I updated to ui 3.1.  It occurred this morning after I updated the gallery app from the Galaxy store
