Galaxy store keeps crashing

Galaxy store is a very unstable app, every other day it just keeps on crashing. It continuously searches for updates, drains battery in the process. I can't limit the background processes, can't disable it. 

If they can't fix this atleast give an option to disable it. 

P.S. - I have restarted the device, wiped cache partition, my device and apps are all updated and I 

 don't want to factory reset as it consumes a lot of time.

Just clear the cache and data of Galaxy store

Goto settings-apps - search for galaxy store and unistall all updates

I tried it but after updating again it started crashing.
