This is how the phone screen looks now.i have tried wiping the phone to factory reset and applying safe mode but even still the phone is not working properly.

Hi,Reon here.

My Galaxy S8+ also once did that but the reason behind that was it got too wet.

So I suggest checking the internals at an authorized dealer and fitting a new screen.
