Galaxy s8+ not getting android update

Hi there,

I have got a samsung galaxy s8+ as gift from one of my client. He lives in angola, amd i am using it in Bangladesh. But this phone does not get any android update. Whenever a check for update, it replies "Latest updates have alrwady been installed. Security patch level: 1 nov 2018".

Can anyone please help me on this issue?

try to install any vpn app and change your phone region to a different country and then try and update your phone

download and install updates manually through odin

you can change region of your device

keep in local sim card
and make factory reset
the device will be register in your local service provider settings
