Galaxy S8 for One UI 2.0

Hello. Good day, I've been reading news about One UI 2.0 and Galaxy S8 and Note 8 device will not get the update. I'm thinking right now that S8 help the company to gain the attention of the customer since the incident of Galaxy Note 7. I mean S8 is the beginning of new era of Infinity and I believe S8 is the first smartphone that have perfectly curves and beautiful display ever. I hope you guys understand why S8 should also include in the list of One UI 2.0. Thank you :)

Unfortunately Samsung's policy update is unpleasant, you can expect only 2 major SW update! (even for flagship phones).

S8/+ were released with android 7 and upgraded to android 9.
I don't think they will release android 10 for S8 but One ui 2 may be pushed in Q2 next year!

well, as of now.. its not possible YET!.. but im sure they will push it because s8 and note8 are both eligible for android 10 / one ui, so don't lose hope.. 😁😉

No Android 10 update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8

The reason is simple: Samsung has always offered only two major upgrades for its flagship devices. The company also provides the same number of major upgrades to mid-range and budget devices as well, and while it’s unfortunate that Samsung doesn’t make a distinction between flagship phones and lower-end devices, it is what it is. The Galaxy S8, S8+, and Galaxy Note 8 were launched with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and were subsequently updated to Android Oreo and Android Pie, so they have already received the updates they were eligible for.

I hope Samsung will consider it. Galaxy S8 is their major upgrade since Galaxy S6 with amazing features. I think they can also implement with speed and performance with their update in every security update. Or also, if not really eligible with One UI 2, I hope they take consideration for updgrading Galaxy S8 and Note 8 with One UI 1.5 :smiling-face:

Also, it's their own chip"Exynos" they can customize it with their updates I think, like the Apple Chip even though iPhone 6s is old, it's still fast because every update they make even more faster. Same like Samsung, we all know that Snapdragon 835 is better than Exynos 8895 and that's Samsung should focus. I think if the Galaxy S9 will get the last upgrade, the performance of S9 will decrease like Galaxy S8. Thank you :smiling-face:
