Hi everyone,
I recently bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 256 GB from Amazon UAE, and I received it on June 28th. It’s been just 6 days since I started using the phone, but I’m already facing a serious battery drain issue.
To test the issue, I compared my phone with my roommate’s S25 Ultra (he bought his a month ago). We played the same 8K video for about 20 minutes on both phones, with the same settings. His phone only lost 1%, while mine dropped by 5%. That's a huge difference for the same device!
Also, after a full charge last night, my battery dropped to 36% after just 5 hours of screen-on time (SOT). My friend’s phone shows “1 day 19 hours” battery estimate after full charge, while mine only shows “1 day 5 hours.”
I’ve already checked the settings, no heavy apps in the background, dark mode is on, and I’m using 120Hz refresh rate (same as my friend).
Is anyone else facing this kind of battery issue with the S25 Ultra? Could this be a defective unit? Appreciate any help, suggestions, or feedback from others.
