📌 Galaxy S24 Series Update Delay – Totally Unfair!

It makes no sense that Galaxy S25 Series is getting the new update in September, but the S24 Series — which is still the current flagship — has to wait till October. Why should the phone that millions of loyal customers bought at a premium price be treated like a “second-class” device?

We keep hearing the same excuses: “phased rollout, regional testing, carrier approval.” But let’s be honest — these excuses are getting old. If Samsung can give the update to S25 in September, then S24 users deserve it at the same time.

👉 And let me be very clear:

We are tired of updates that only bring bug fixes and nothing exciting. This time we expect:

Real camera improvements (automatic natural tones, better low-light, consistency without needing manual tweaks).

Proper social media optimization — so apps like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp work just as good (or better) than on iPhone.

We bought the S24 Ultra with big hopes, but if Samsung once again gives us a delayed and unimpressive update, then it only proves the critics right — that Samsung cannot compete with iPhone where it really matters.

⚠️ Please understand: loyal customers are running out of patience. Either Samsung delivers a powerful, feature-rich update, or many of us will seriously consider leaving Galaxy for good.

Well, One UI 8 official built is released yesterday for S25 Ultra whereas ONE UI 8 will be released on 25th September. I think its fair enough... not that much delay. Whereas practically One UI 8 is like One UI 7.1 . Not Major upgrade except few tweeks & Android OS upgrade to 16.

I was thinking this update would finally bring some special features, but honestly iPhone 15 & 16 Pro Max are still the real kings — Samsung S24 feels far behind, especially in smoothness and social media experience.

Well everyone has it's own taste. Im Android Lover where Freedom is everything for me.. my other Family members are iPhone users. Too much restrictions..

I totally respect your choice, brother. 👍 Android surely gives more freedom in terms of customization, but what we are talking about here is not just “freedom” — it’s real user experience.

iPhone may feel restricted, but those restrictions actually ensure stability, smoothness, better apps, and consistent social media features. That’s why iPhone still feels like a king in performance.

Freedom is good, but at the end of the day we want a phone that is smooth, reliable, and delivers the best experience. And honestly, in that area iPhone is still far ahead of Samsung.

That's true for sure.. apps stability is Major concern... Although Specs are of no match but consistent smoothness requires Improvement...

You are absolutely right, brother. Specs alone don’t matter if the apps are not stable and smooth. Samsung really needs to focus on consistency and optimization because that’s where iPhone is still way ahead. If they improve this area, then Android lovers like us will be much happier.

Hmm, all my family Apple devices got updated last night to their respective OS 26 version. That includes iPhone 11, SE to 15 pro. Ipad 9th gen, Macbook and Apple Watch.
Yet for Samsung, it will take like a month to get an update for this last year's phone.

Yes brother, that’s the real difference between Apple and Samsung. Apple provides updates instantly across all devices, even old models, and that’s why users trust their ecosystem.

Samsung really needs to understand that timely updates matter. No doubt their phones have great specs, but when the latest flagship has to wait a whole month for software, it feels disappointing. Consistency and speed in updates is something Samsung must improve urgently.

Besides Apple, no other tech company updates it product line at a time. Even samsung no. 1 in android, do not, and it hink can not manage updates due to a lot of models every year.
