Hi everyone.

I just bought the galaxy s21 fe a few days back. The phone has been heating up with mild use. Is this normal?

Thanks for the feedback 😀

What are you using for browsing? Is it direct Data connection or Wi-Fi? I've observed when using direct Data connection the phone kinda overheats a little unless using Wi-Fi

What variant did you get ? The exynos has those characteristics.

I'd advise you to ask for a replacement device
As you have 7 days to return it
Inform the store you purchased the device from that its defective

Good advice but I bet you the next one will be the same. If it's got the samsung exynos chip.

Not really
Exynos is the processor
It can cause a heating issue
But the device needs to be tested before we can really say what's causing the issue
It could be a defective battery
Or defective Main Board
Or defective screen
There's many things to consider before you can actually make a report

However this does not mean that Qualcomm Snapdragon Processors don't have issues
It's a possibility that sometimes the Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor is over heating as well
Which can also be a defective Main Board

Another reason is
It can also just be the software not being installed properly if you've done an OTA update

Nonetheless both Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon Processors are extremely fast and good Processors
5nm technology with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Series
4nm technology with the S22 Series is Excellent
