Looks like all of SA are waiting for it still while people on forums are already talking about android 13. We are always the last to receive these updates it seems.
Please note that software updates are rolled out in batches and the rollout is region and model dependent, once available for your model you will receive an update to install the software
As your device is new, this is expected. Your device is learning your usage pattern so that it can optimise the battery life based on your performance, this may drain the battery quicker in the first few days.

To check the battery usage: 1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps. 2. Select Settings. 3. Select Device care. 4. Select Battery. 5. Select Battery usage.
From here you can see what applications and processes are using the most power.
