GALAXY S21 ULTRA - TERRIBLE CAMERA QUALITY

Hi guys, over the time using the S21 Ultra, noticed the camera quality is really bad, compared to the any low profile cameras available in the market.

If compared to Apple or other high caliber phones, its literally day and night.

The videos/photos does not have a proper resolution, almost feels like going in the past with phones cameras having 3G connection.

The stabalizer does not work, the video/photo is super pixeleted, even if the person/object is near it appears to apprears be blurred.(keep in mind no zoom used)

Is anyone else facing the issue, saw few threads out of UAE on the same, seems issue with the hardware.

First, you may need to test the camera by following the below steps:

1- Open Samsung members application

2- Get help

3- Interactive checks

4- Camera

 

If the Samsung Members app is not installed on your phone, you can dial *#0*# and test Mega cam and Front cam

 

If the test result was good, you may need to follow the below steps:

Open the camera > Settings > Reset settings > Reset

 

If the issue continues, please bring the device to a Samsung Service Center to have the device checked out by a technician.

Hey have you updated to the latest version? Also did you clear the data and cache of the camera app? It should fix the issue you are facing.

In addition a new update for the month of May has been released in Germany (will be released to more countries soon) focusing on camera improvements and quick share.

Let me know if the above method doesn't work.

I have the same problem, I bought my S21 ultra specifically for the video shooting but unfortunately still very bad even after the last update.
I really disappointed with this specially when comparing the videos with my old S9 plus; it was awesome 😔

Hi,
I brought my device to the Samsung customer service 10 days ago in Oman and they said there is no issues with it.
So they didn't solve any problem and still the same bad quality of shooting videos with UHD 60 FPS which is the main reason that I bought the device for.
I'm very disappointed with Samsung and the way you are handling this major issue. If I didn't gave away my old S9+ I would probably go back to it. Now I will shift to another device from a good company if I didn't get any solution from you soon.
