Back in February, Samsung unveiled a new set of flagships in the form of Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra. Among all the premium specs and features, there is a particular characteristic that can be determined as one of the main selling points in these flagships – the 120Hz displays. They’re the first smartphones from Samsung to go beyond 60Hz mark. Interestingly enough, Samsung didn’t set a middle ground for their operations, it either 120Hz or a standard 60Hz. Now, however, a new report indicates that there is a 96Hz mode hidden in the software. According to XDA-Developers, this mode can be easily enabled via ADB. For all other users, the XDA Forums’ member SatySatsZB created a specific application that conveniently enables the 96Hz mode. You can download the app in the link below and it will place two toggles in your status bar that allow you to quickly switch between 96Hz and 120Hz mode.
