Fingerprint sensor not working

I need your help, as the fingerprint sensor of my Samsung S9+ is not working

Hi Ado .. I did a quick research online and looks like its a know issue with S9 series.. Check this link, which gives you a few ways to possibly fix the issue.. Let me know if it works 💪

Unfortunately I've tried all the steps in the link but the finger print sensor is still not responding

I hope you tried the Factory Reset option as well and if the issue still persist then it could be a hardware issue. Please visit an authorised Samsung service center to get your device fixed. All the best bro 👍

Hi Ashwin.
I dun want to do the factory reset now as it will delete all the info .. nd I dun have a backup storage currently, so I kept it as a last solution.
What happened has happened suddenly so I dun think it's hardware issue.
Currently I'm trying all tricks and steps online but in vain

Sounds like a hardware issue.

Please bring the device to a Samsung Service Center.  A technician will be able to check and assess the issue.
