RIP my Wi-Fi router. 🙏 The stable One UI 8.5 update (a massive 4.6 GB!) is finally here. I'm currently watching the progress bar crawl from 1% 🐌.

Hang in there! I'm at 40% right now, and the wait is real. 😂

To get it moving, try turning Airplane Mode on for 10 seconds and then off again to refresh your connection (make sure your VPN is off). If that doesn't work, just pause the download, give your phone a quick restart, and try resuming it. Let me know if that helps! 😊😊

On previous versions of One UI, users could choose between two simple options: show the battery percentage as a number or hide it entirely and rely only on the pill-shaped battery icon. One UI 8.5 changes that behavior. The battery level is now always displayed as a number, but Samsung gives you a new way to customize how it looks.

If you use the Good Lock app, you can use the QuickStar module to completely hide the battery icon from your status bar!
