Galaxy S
Dear Samsung Team,
As a recent user of the Galaxy S24 Ultra — having switched from the iPhone 15 Pro Max — I’m extremely satisfied with the power, display, and camera capabilities of this flagship device.
However, I’d like to bring attention to a few creative limitations in the current photo and video editing features, especially when it comes to content creation for platforms like Facebook Reels and Stories:
1. Lack of Advanced Text Editing: In the native video editor or story creator, we cannot easily increase or decrease text size dynamically by sliding (like in TikTok), which makes real-time editing less intuitive.
2. Missing One-Click Text Copy/Paste: There’s no simple tap-to-copy or one-click paste functionality for text overlays. This makes it difficult to reuse stylized text across clips or scenes, which is a basic but essential tool for content creators.
3. Limited Filters and Cinematic Effects: Compared to the iPhone, the S24 Ultra lacks a wide variety of built-in filters, portrait effects, and cinematic tools that enhance storytelling directly from the camera app.
I believe the addition of these tools would take the Galaxy S-series’ creative potential to the next level. Content creators, influencers, and everyday users alike would benefit tremendously from having more control and flexibility — without needing third-party apps.
Are there any upcoming One UI or app updates that might address these features? I’m confident that with Samsung’s commitment to innovation and user feedback, we’ll soon see powerful improvements in this area.
Looking forward to your response and hoping to see these upgrades in future updates.
Best regards,
Aamir Sohail Khan
