The Google Pixel 10 Pro includes Dual Conversion Gain, which improves SNR, shadow detail, and highlight retention by switching between low-gain and high-gain readout modes. This provides a noticeable advantage in both low-light and high-contrast shooting environments. Considering that Pixel phones rely on Samsung ISOCELL-based sensors, it feels unfair that Galaxy flagship users don’t receive similar sensor-level optimizations. Samsung customers should also get access to the full capabilities of the hardware.
Kindly enable Dual Conversion Gain (or an equivalent dual-gain ISO processing system) on the Galaxy S24 Ultra and upcoming Galaxy flagship devices. This enhancement will significantly improve computational photography, RAW output, and professional video performance.
