I’ve been a loyal Samsung customer for 15 years, using everything from TV, smartwatch, buds, air conditioner, washing machine, and refrigerator. However, I’m now facing a major issue with my galaxy S22+, which I purchased on March 23rd, 2022 just after the launch by spending ₹78000.

After the September 2024 software update, a vertical green line appeared on my screen, which is clearly due to the update and not my fault. I contacted Samsung customer care, and instead of addressing this as a software issue, they told me my phone is out of warranty and asked me to pay ₹12,000 for a screen replacement! This is completely unacceptable.

As a loyal customer for so long, it’s heartbreaking to experience such poor customer service. Samsung India , this issue was caused by your update, and I expect a free screen replacement.

This is not acceptable at any cost brother, we should make some noise about this. If they are allowing s21 free screen replacement then why not in the superior edition. We need a solution

They are saying like there are no cases reported with s22 plus and s22 , only s22 ultra have these problems ,
But here we can see many s22 and s22 plus owners are also facing the same issue
Don't know why a brand like samsung is doing like this

I haven't heard such issues with Samsung's competitor. Op also approved screen replacement due to wrong security update

U can visit samsung india website , there is an option to directly mail to ceo desk.
I have used that option
