Galaxy SSubject: Serious Concern Regarding Samsung Flagship Phone (S22 Ultra) – Post UI 7 Update Failure
Hello Friends & Fellow Samsung Flagship Users,
I’m writing to share a deeply disappointing experience I’ve had with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which I purchased in March 2022 for ₹1,20,000.
After almost three years of use, the phone suddenly developed a thin green line on the display following the recent One UI 7 update. Within a few days, it completely stopped working—the motherboard failed, most likely due to overheating issues triggered by the update.
I reached out to Samsung Customer Support requesting a free-of-cost repair, considering this appears to be a software-induced hardware failure. Unfortunately, they rejected my request, citing that the phone is out of warranty.
I’m sharing this not just out of frustration, but to warn others who are using or planning to purchase a Samsung flagship device. Please think twice before making that investment, and stay alert to issues that may arise after major updates.
I can't explain the full details, but I’m actively looking for ways to escalate this issue further, possibly to higher support levels or through consumer forums.
If anyone has faced a similar issue or knows how to escalate this effectively, please help or share your experience.
Thank you.
