After months of unfulfilled promises from Samsung regarding updates for certain device categories, it has become increasingly evident that these assurances were little more than marketing tactics. This behavior suggests that the company is primarily focused on product sales, with little regard for providing proper technical support.
Samsung users have every right to demand the updates and support that were promised. Unfortunately, we the users are being sidelined and ignored, especially as updates are prioritized for the European Union and North America, while the Middle East and the Gulf region are neglected. This raises a serious question:
Are we expected to develop and maintain the operating system ourselves simply because it's open-source?
Samsung must understand that trust is built not through flashy advertisements, but through transparency, accountability, and honoring commitments.
