Edge lighting in S, Note series

Check the below screenshot. Is this type of always on display available in S8 ? I couldn't find it in settings.

its available in the always on display settings under "More Clock Styles"

yes I found it, but the weather info can't be seen as it's there in the image above.

it is not from s8 it is from s7 edge, it is a edge screen display, we will not get it in other models, though I requested sam long back.
anyways @ least this is available, it is fine.

Exactly and with the edge gone in S20 series. I doubt we would get any further improvements in edge screens.

i hate these notch and punch hole display and also water drop displays
i liked those bazzle displays also
