Galaxy S1. Power off the device.
2. Press and hold the Power key for one or two seconds to turn on the device.
3. When the Samsung logo appears, press and hold the Volume down key.

Galaxy S1. Press volume down and power key simultaneously for 5 seconds to restart the device.
2. Press the power key on the right hand side and tap on the restart icon on the screen.
3. Swipe down the notification panel to access it. Select the notification safe mode enabled and tap on off to restart the device.
