Thank you for contacting us and sharing your concern.

You need to follow the troubleshooting steps below to solve the problem. After completing all steps, check whether the issue is resolved or still exists.

Here are the troubleshooting steps you can try for your issue:

1. Check Android Auto Settings for Wallpaper Sync

  • Open the Android Auto app on your phone.

  • Go to Settings > Wallpaper (or Customize).

  • Look for any option that forces the use of a specific wallpaper or syncs your phone's wallpaper. Ensure any such synchronization setting is disabled within the Android Auto application.

2. Verify Dynamic Lock Screen Settings

  • The dynamic wallpaper setting you are using may be part of Samsung's Dynamic Lock screen service, which rotates images on the lock screen.

  • Ensure you are applying the dynamic feature correctly to the home screen if that option is available.

  • Go to Settings > Wallpaper and style > Change wallpapers. Ensure the applied wallpaper isn’t part of a timed service or one that automatically reverts when Android Auto is active.

3. Clear Cache for Android Auto and System UI

  • Go to Settings > Apps.

  • Find Android Auto, tap it, then go to Storage > Clear cache.

  • Go back to the Apps list, tap the three dots menu in the top right, select Show system apps.

  • Find System UI, tap it, then go to Storage > Clear cache.

  • Restart your phone after clearing both caches.

4. Check Third-Party Wallpaper Apps

  • If you are using a third-party app for dynamic wallpapers, it might not handle transitions to and from Android Auto correctly.

  • Ensure the app is updated to the latest version.

  • Check if the app has a setting to run in the background and avoid being optimized away when Android Auto is active.
