Galaxy S
I bought a Samsung S21 FE (which I’m currently using) in September last year. It’s been just 1 year and 2 months, and suddenly a white line appeared on the display. I contacted the service center, and they told me it would cost Rs. 55,000 to replace the display.
People buy phones expecting them to last at least 3 years, and they pay for the trust they have in the brand. What’s the point of buying a Samsung phone if it develops hardware issues without any physical damage? This isn’t some cheap midrange or low-budget phone it’s part of the S series, a so called "flagship." People pay a premium for these phones, and this is what they get in return?
I’ve also seen a few ads for S21 FE phones on ikman.lk, and they have the same white line issue. If this were caused by physical damage, it wouldn’t be so common. Clearly, this is a widespread defect.
I’m beyond disappointed with this phone and with Samsung as a brand. I wouldn’t buy another Samsung phone for the rest of my life, and if anyone I know plans to, I’ll make sure to tell them not to. This is unacceptable for a "flagship" device. Never again, Samsung!!!

Totally agreed. But the solution is that Samsung must implement free screen replacements for the particular phone models in all countries. Then it is fair. But only a few selected countries are giving free screen replacement. Also, when purchasing a Samsung phone, always check for user reports on green or white line issues, especially for the flagship models.
