Display brightness

Since yesterday I am observing decrease in brightness of display. 

It seems to me that adaptive brightness not working fine.

So I turned it off and turned on extra brightness. 

Is there any solution for this?

Extra dim might got turned on.
Go in settings and search extra dim and turn it off

No it can not turn on automatically.
