Galaxy SThank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand the frustration caused by the appearance of a green vertical line on your Galaxy S23's display following the March 2025 software update. Your proactive approach in visiting the service center and sharing your experience is greatly appreciated.
Samsung is aware that some Galaxy S23 users have reported similar display issues after recent software updates. Previously, Samsung India extended a free screen replacement program for select Galaxy devices affected by the green line issue, which was available until December 31, 2024. This program applied to devices without physical or water damage and within three years of purchase.
Given that your device is now out of warranty and the previous replacement program has concluded, we recommend the following steps:
Contact Samsung Customer Support: Reach out to our customer service team to report the issue and inquire about any current or upcoming support initiatives for your device model.
Visit an Authorized Service Center: While you've already visited a service center, consider seeking a second opinion at another authorized location. They may provide additional insights or alternative solutions.
Stay Updated: Regularly check Samsung's official channels and community forums for announcements regarding support programs or software updates that may address this issue.
We acknowledge the inconvenience this has caused and are committed to assisting you in resolving the matter. If you have any further questions or require additional support, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best regards,
Samsung Customer Support

Galaxy SThis is a good approach to bring info to consumers
But service wont listen and wont do a replacement
Its just waste
I had same issue with watch5 active
Being ip68
They said water is the issue and they have charged 15k for repair even under warranty
Best advice i can gv is...dont buy costly devices especially samsung

Galaxy SIf your concerns are still ignored, consider registering a grievance with the National Consumer Helpline. This approach is highly likely to yield results.
