I have an S25 Ultra, and I wasn't a part of the beta test of the software. I expected this update to be a major one, but I found it is only a minor one. In my opinion, Samsung should work hard to keep their customer loyalty. There are no significant changes from the S23!

One ui 7 was the major one. 8 is slight. 9 will be bigger. 10 will be smaller.
Yes s23 still has the rights to one ui 8 yes so no major differences except the AI stuff.

I am pretty sure you haven't missed out on much, and the timing for a new UI is a little off considering the new hardware will be launched in February, few months from now which usually bring in the new UI.

Hi 👋
Thanks for sharing your feedback.
I understand where you’re coming from — when we hear “major update,” expectations are naturally high. One UI 8 is designed less around flashy changes and more on refining stability, battery efficiency, AI integration, and making the overall Galaxy experience smoother.

While it may look similar to One UI 7 at first glance, a lot of improvements are under the hood, like performance optimizations, tighter security, Galaxy AI features, and camera enhancements. Samsung usually focuses on consistent user experience across generations rather than drastic visual changes each year.

Your point about customer loyalty is valid, and feedback like yours is what helps Samsung know what users really want. Hopefully, the next feature drops will bring more noticeable additions on top of this solid foundation. 😊
