DONT UPGRADE TO ONE UI 6.1

I hate it i hate i hate it ..... everything you hold dear is gone ... always on display customization is gone.... auto brightness on AOD GONE!!! .... color schemes on it GONEEEE..... i bought a new s23 ultra and i was loving it soooo **bleep** much ... thank you samsung for making me hate my phone ... **bleep**kkkkk ... to top it all off ... i cant hide the HINT on s23 ultra even by good lock ... ahuge middle finger by samsung....

Yeah, I agree with you on AOD issue but everything else is so far good on my s24 Plus

I don't know why Samsung is limiting features with each android update.
Battery stats are useless since UI 6 update, disabling recycling bin option is gone, one hand reachability on notification panel is gone, notification toggle dual action feature is gone.
Now you're saying AOD customisation is also gone.
Samsung is actually downgrading everything, making it difficult just like IOS .

BTW, removing Auto brightness on AOD feature is a wise decision in my opinion, as it was causing flicking issue when turned off if you observe in very very dark environments.

The only reason people wanted to use Samsung was their huge customization options ... idk why they're being so dull I guess it's a bigger game we do not know about ... never noticed the flickering issue ... I love the manual brightness because it helped me see the new notifications upfront .... again the accessibility of the phone was nowhere near iPhone now it's just another dull brick
Hadn't been to the recycle bin option yet ... and yes it was very useful ... swear i hate it ... i was in love with my s23 ultra istg .. maann im so sad and frustrated

Agreed.
They're just copying IOS.
Just to see the connected charger speed, now go to battery settings, previously charging speed information was visible everywhere, even on AOD screen also.
Just like these small things they are making things more complex like IOS. For every action in UI 6, you require some extra taps. 6,7 taps to just delete a picture permanently.

Flickering issue can't be seen normally, but can be seen in very very dark room. if you notice the turning off AOD after 10 secons (i use AOD on touch), it first brightens whole panel, then turn off it completely.
This occur only on Auto brightness. Fix brightness level doesn't cause this issue.

Well i havent noticed the battery charging speed option yet .. by that if u mean the time would take to charge ... that's pathetic if thats gone because i loved that too mann **bleep**
