My S8 contacts have merged with my Husband's Iphone somehow and vice versa he has got my contacts too, is there some way to delete them??

You can restore the backup of your own contacts

Yes if you have an updated backup before the problem you can restore it
otherwise you will have to do it manually unfortunately
