The HDR videos in youtube on my s20 fe 5g looks washed out. Colors are very dull. The screen occasionally flickers as well.

No such issues occurred while playing a 4k hdr video from internal storage. Colors were spot on the downloaded clip.

Also, no netflix hdr certification present for this device.

I am on one ui 3.1 June 2021 security patch

No it's not. It know its netflix which provides certification but would like to know why netflix hdr is not available yet despite the device supporting hdr.

I mean the color looks little bit washed out if you compare them to non hdr. Also there is no video enhancer or video brightness option here.

And I didn't find any issue with colors on a downloaded hdr clip playing from internal storage

What type of video available to watch in hdr and non hdr ?

Well most of the 4k or more videos are in hdr and you can compare the colors to other non-hdr videos like music videos, tech reviews, etc.

Also, sadly there is no option in youtube to turn hdr on or off

Flickering occurs very rarely only at certain angles but it's there

Maybe. I can deal with occasional flickering but the hdr colors on youtube are certainly not acceptable.

It's annoying that you can't even watch a hdr video in non hdr mode in youtube.
