Camera quality gets cut down significantly

Camera quality goes down when posting on whatsapp status,  how can I fix this?

Try this , Open WhatsApp and go to Settings > Storage and data
Look for Media upload quality
Select HD quality

Whastapp does that to reduce file size

Upload Images and Videos as Documents (for Best Quality)

WhatsApp doesn’t compress media files sent as documents.

Open a chat with yourself (or any contact).

Tap the attachment icon (paperclip).

Select Document instead of Gallery.

Choose the image/video from your file manager.

Send it to yourself, then download and re-upload it to your status.
