Hello there,

My video camera settings for Scene Optimiser, Shot Suggestions, Wide Angle (for selfies), Tracking Auto Focus are all grayed-out (not able to use).

Please let me know the solution/remedy.

Thanks,

These settings and features can be only used in normal photo capturing mode.

Make sure you're not in Live Focus or Video Mode.

I hope it solves your problem. If not then try resetting camera app by clearing data and cache of camera app.

Thank you.

But I did see a YouTube video for a Samsung phone working in video mode with auto focus feature...
Thanks

That might be in pro video mode or certain fixed resolution.
Can you provide the link if possible.

In this link he never showed that feature in video mode. All the time he was in normal photo mode.
Maybe he didn't notice that.

Or else he's using Note 20 series. Maybe that feature is available in series Note 20 and above.

Mine Note 9 also doesn't have that feature.

Yes I noticed that too.
I think in high resolution that auto focusing will increase load on chipset.

And you already know Exynos. 😅😅😅

In video mode you can't use those features. It's only restricted to normal photo mode.
