It somehow resolved it. Because I found out a third party app is causing that pop up when I click on chrome and always, it is still there but since it opened in the chrome browser, and that application loaded.. So I uninstalled it.

I have the same annoying problem.  I am playing "My Soundtrack" on Amazon Music and the dang phone pop up wants to use some other app?  It is playing fine using the Amazon Music app but the popup asks to use either Google or the Amazon shopping app.  PIA!
