Thank you for contacting us and sharing your concern regarding the phone’s battery issue.

Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to solve the battery problem. After completing all steps, check whether the issue has been resolved or if it still exists.

Here are the troubleshooting steps you can try for your phone’s battery issue:

  1. Addressing Lag and System Hangs
Wipe Cache Partition: This clears temporary system files that may be corrupted after an OS update and can resolve performance issues without deleting personal data.

  • Turn off your phone.

  • Connect your phone to a computer using a USB cable.

  • Press and hold the Volume Up and Power keys simultaneously. Release them when the Samsung logo appears.

  • Use the volume keys to navigate to “Wipe cache partition” and use the power key to select it.

  • Select “Yes” to confirm.

  • Select “Reboot system now” when finished.

Optimize your device:

  • Go to Settings > Device care.

  • Tap “Optimize now.”
    • Check for misbehaving apps:

  • Boot into Safe Mode to see if performance improves.

  • If it does, the issue is caused by a third-party app. Uninstall recently installed or suspicious apps.

  1. Addressing Rapid Battery Drain
    Review battery usage:

  • Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > View details.

  • Restrict apps with high battery consumption or put them to deep sleep.
    • Disable background data for non-essential apps to prevent unnecessary background activity.
    • Reduce screen brightness and refresh rate:

  • Adjust these in Settings > Display.
    • Factory Reset (last resort):

  • Perform this only if issues persist. Back up all important data before resetting.

System & Performance Tweaks
Run Galaxy App Booster:

  • Download “Good Guardians” from the Galaxy Store.

  • Open Good Guardians and select “Galaxy App Booster.”

  • Run optimization for all apps.

Adjust Performance Profile:

  • Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Performance profile.

  • Select “Light” to improve battery efficiency and reduce overheating.

Disable RAM Plus:

  • Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Memory.

  • Tap “RAM Plus” and turn it off.

Reduce Animations:

  • Enable Developer options (Settings > About phone > Software information, tap Build number repeatedly).

  • Go to Settings > Developer options.

  • Change Window animation scale, Transition animation scale, and Animator duration scale to .5x or turn them off.

Battery Management Enhancements
Reset Battery Statistics (Advanced Users Only):

  • Ensure Auto Blocker is off in Settings.

  • Open the Phone app and dial *#9900#.

  • Select “batterystats reset.”

  • Restart your phone.

 Full Battery Recalibration:

  • Drain the battery completely until the device powers off.

  • Charge it to 100% without interruption using the official Samsung charger.

  • Keep it plugged in for one extra hour after reaching 100%.

Limit background connectivity:

  • Turn off Wi-Fi scanning, Bluetooth, and location services when not in use, as these features continuously search for connections and drain battery power.
