Thank you for contacting us and sharing your concern regarding battery drain on your Galaxy earbuds.

General Troubleshooting:

  1. Check the Galaxy Wearable App:

    • Ensure both earbuds are draining at a similar rate. A significant difference may indicate a problem with one earbud.

  2. Update Software:

    • Make sure both the Galaxy Wearable app and earbuds firmware are up to date.

    • Navigate to Wearable app > Earbud settings > Earbuds software update.

  3. Reset the Earbuds:

    • Place both earbuds in the charging case.

    • Open the Galaxy Wearable app.

    • Go to Earbud settings > About earbuds (or Reset).

    • Select Reset and follow the prompts.

  4. Clean Contacts:

    • Ensure the charging contacts on both the earbuds and inside the case are free of debris or earwax.

Factors Affecting Battery Life:

  • Volume Level: Very high volumes drain the battery faster.

  • Connection Stability: Weak Bluetooth connections require more power.

Advanced Software Adjustments:

  • Disable unused features in the Wearable app.

  • Turn off 360 Audio in Sound quality and effects.

  • Disable Voice Detect and Auto Switch if not in use.

  • Limit app notifications allowed to the earbuds.

  • Check Accessibility Left/Right balance slider is centered.

  • Listen at moderate volume; download music to reduce continuous streaming.

  • Occasionally allow full discharge and then recharge to 100% to recalibrate the battery meter.

Hardware and Physical Checks:

  • Thoroughly clean the charging contacts on earbuds and case.

  • Remove ear tips and gently clean sensors, mesh, and charging contacts with a soft, dry cloth or cotton swab.

  • Verify earbuds are seated properly in the case; indicator lights should show correct charging status.

  • Remove any third-party protective case from the charging case, which may interfere with charging or connectivity.

Following these steps should help identify and resolve battery drain issues.
