I have a Samsung S21 Plus phone and now it has a bright green line on the screen. Initially, it was a vevertical pink line that comes after a software update. There was no physical damage to the phone. Anyway, it was barely noticeable, so I didn't think much of it. However, now the line became very bright green in color. Unfortunately, the device is out of warranty now, and I'm disappointed and frustrated that I might have to bear the entire cost of replacing the display due to Samsung's software update issues. Clearly this wasn't a my fault. So, never ever going to purchase another Samsung phone. What options do I have in this situation?

Hi bro 👋
First, sorry for hear that. Currently in sri lanka there is no Display replacing program due to software update issue but report your problem and situation via samsung members. As a current situation if you need to fix the issue you need to replace whole Display, there is no any way

So if my comment is useful for you, use the 3 dots in my comment for accept my comment as a solution. 😉 👍

Hi, today I reached out to Samsung's customer care service to report an issue with the green line on my S21 Plus display after updating the device. They informed me that there was a free display replacement program for the S20 series due to numerous complaints from users, as it was identified as a common issue. However, there hasn't been an official announcement for the S21 series yet, and it may only be implemented in the future if more users report the same display issue after the update. They assured me that they would contact me if such a program becomes available. It's important to note that this issue was not my fault, and I trust Samsung as a reputable company and their products. It's disappointing to now have to pay a significant amount for a problem caused by the update. Therefore, if anyone else is experiencing the same issue after the update, I encourage them to make a complaint and post about it on the "Samsung Members" platform. We should not have to pay for an issue that is not our fault, which comes as their mistake. I believe that Samsung would not engage in such unfair practices, and as a community, we can pressure Samsung to provide us with the service and support we deserve.
