Why is my brand new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra set in India when I bought it and using it in the UAE. The region is set to UAE but all apps are as if I'm in India, including Samsung Pay (this is not allowing me to add my cards!) and even news.
It's super frustrating!

Where did you purchase your device from? An online vendor may have gotten it from another region and hence you havr that issue.

From a store in the country, specifically Carrefour, so I highly doubt this is the case

Remove your indian SIM card. This happened to me while my US SIM card was in my phone.
+ Make sure your samsung account register with a UAE phone number. Good luck.

I dont have an indian sim card, the first sim card i used was my UAE sim card
I didnt buy it from india even i bought it from here
