Battery life tanked after One UI 8 update on Galaxy S24, anyone else?

I just updated my Galaxy S24 to the latest One UI 8 and the battery life has gotten ridiculously bad. I used to get around 7 hours of screen-on time without any issues.

Now I'm barely getting 4 hours of SOT and I've already tried all the usual fixes checked for background apps, cleared cache, put unused apps to sleep, turned off high refresh rate. Nothing’s helped so far.

Is anyone else also facing this after the update?

It will be better with time after usage, the phone will optimize accordingly.
